Post Closing Analyst

The Shipping & Suspense Coordinator position is for candidates with prior experience and knowledge of loan delivery to investors and government agencies. As loans are committed, the Shipping Coordinator would prepare the loan data and/or loan documents for delivery to the respective investor. The individual would work from a queue or pipeline, prioritizing and preparing loan files according to company and investor requirements.

The candidate must have knowledge of mortgage loan documents and terminology, and the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Selling System. In this position, one will work closely with several different investors, delivering all types of loan files and loan products. It will require timely, regular follow-up on each individual file to research and quickly rectify delivery issues and investor suspended loans. In this position, the candidate will converse daily with internal and external customers, requiring knowledge of the mortgage origination process.

The Ideal Candidate Must Possess The Following Qualities

• Mortgage origination knowledge or background
• Knowledge of the Uniform Loan Delivery Dataset (ULDD) - Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
• Knowledge of the Uniform Closing Dataset
• Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Computer and technology savvy (Knowledge of Microsoft Office products)
• Patient with repetitive tasks
• Experience with Encompass operation system, a plus
