Your Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Inventory tracking and ordering dental supplies
- Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring their comfort
- Setting up, breaking down, stocking, and cleaning operatories daily
- Sterilizing instruments according to regulations
- Maintaining OSHA standards in operatories and sterilization areas
- Assisting the dentist with 4-handed dentistry and clinical chart notation
- Taking digital x-rays, including CBCT and panoramic x-rays
- Providing post-operative care instructions to patients
- Collaborating with fellow dental assistants and team members
- Completing lab tasks such as iTero scanning, impressions, and managing lab cases
Our ideal Dental Assistant candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- 1-2 years of proven experience in dental assisting (Required)
- CDA certification is a plus but not required
- Texas Radiology certification (Required)
- Knowledge of various dental instruments and procedures
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanor
Working Hours: Monday- Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
