Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic cannabis Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and guiding customers through their cannabis purchasing experience. You will be responsible for educating customers about various products, assisting with their selections, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the dispensary.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with personalized assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Educate customers on different strains, products, and consumption methods to help them make informed decisions.
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring all items are properly labeled and priced.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional manner.
- Adhere to all state regulations and company policies regarding cannabis sales and customer interactions.
Requirements
- Previous education or experience in cannabis is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash registers and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for cannabis culture and knowledge of various strains and products is highly desirable.
- Must be at least 21 years of age in compliance with state regulations.
