What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Trainer position at Dream Come True K9?
2 years of experience working with dogs, training dogs or working in a kennel setting is a must.
We are seeking a reliable team player, with a passion for dogs to join our team as a full time Dog Handler, with the opportunity to move up as a Dog Trainer. As part of our team, we are looking for someone who has great communication skills, a strong work ethic and is open to learning new skills & techniques.
Duties will include:
- Working with challenging dogs and behaviors
- Learning and using a broad variety of training techniques
- Being capable of working a physically demanding job in all types of weather
- Helping take care of the health and safety of the dogs
- Working well within the close knit team we have
- Being able to take direction and guidance well and apply it
Job Type: Full-time
