Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation of custom closets and storage systems
• Measure spaces accurately and prepare materials for installation using hand tools and power tools for woodworking and carpentry
• Install cabinetry, shelving, doors, fixtures, and trim with attention to detail and quality standards
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to power tool safety protocols
• Use construction estimating skills to determine material needs and ensure efficient project completion
• Conduct site preparations including framing with metal studs or wood framing as needed for custom installations
• Complete restoration tasks such as caulking, plastering, siding, or water damage remediation when required during projects
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; ensure all safety procedures are followed during installation processes

Skills

• Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and working from construction plans
• Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers) and power tools for woodworking (drills, saws) with a focus on safety
• Strong background in residential carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, door hanging, and fixture setup
• Experience with wood construction materials such as plywood, MDF, particleboard; familiarity with woodworking machines and CNC equipment is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation tasks
• Knowledge of construction estimating, framing (including metal stud framing), masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience and roofing is advantageous
• Capable of interpreting technical drawings or schematics related to custom storage solutions or remodeling projects
• Familiarity with the restoration industry including mold remediation or water damage restoration enhances versatility in project scope

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
