ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
Since 2011, Dream Centers, a faith-based nonprofit, has provided health and hope to those rebuilding their dreams. Dream Centers includes a Women’s Clinic offering medical care, professional counseling, and a full suite of wrap-around services. Our second program, Mary’s Home, is a multi-year program offering trauma-informed care, life-skills training, education, job development, and positive role modeling in a high-challenge, high-support environment for single-mother families experiencing homelessness. Our newest initiative, Big Dream Early Learning, is an innovative early learning center that helps children from birth to age six, to bridge the gap between early childhood trauma and the hopeful future they deserve. Our holistic approach is designed to heal from the inside out, empowering women and children to rebuild their dreams and exit homelessness permanently.
JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Manager serves in a key leadership role within the Mary’s Home program and the broader community of families served by Dream Centers. This position is responsible for supporting the overall health, culture, and stability of the Mary’s Home community while ensuring that the program’s Core Commitments are consistently upheld in all aspects of daily operations. The Operations Manager leads the Operations Team and supervises the day-to-day operations of Mary’s Home Academy, Child Watch Operations and Property Management by providing guidance, oversight, and support to team members to ensure that families receive consistent, high-quality support, responsiveness and care throughout their participation in the program.
This role oversees essential administrative and programmatic processes, including outcomes, data entry, and quarterly program performance assessment.
A strong commitment to discipleship, relational ministry, and Christ-centered service is essential for this role. The Operations Manager must demonstrate the ability to build meaningful relationships, foster trust within the community, and model the values and mission of Mary’s Home and Dream Centers.
REPORTING AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
The Operations Manager reports to the Mary’s Home Program Director, oversees the Operations Team to include the Property Manager, Office Coordinator, and Child Watch Coordinator, and works in close coordination with Mary’s Home Lead Family Advocate, staff, volunteers, partners, service providers, and donors, as well as the Dream Centers support staff and executive staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide supervisory oversight and coaching to Operations Team in professional development, excelling in individual roles, developing team unity, and collaboration to maintain the health and wellbeing of the staff, community, and families of Mary’s Home
- Provide supervisory oversight of Mary’s Home Academy, including curriculum design, scope and sequence, durations of classes, teacher recruitment and training, and assessment of student learning outcomes.
- Interviews new staff roles, facilitating excellent onboarding of new staff members.
- Lead data and outcomes collection and reporting at Mary’s Home in alignment with the program’s core commitments and outcome principles, ensuring accurate data is reported quarterly to all relevant stakeholders to include the Dream Centers Executive Team.
- Facilitate ongoing professional development for the Operations Team, collecting feedback on needed trainings, and implementing regular trainings which will lead to best practices at Mary’s Home.
- Oversees Child Watch Operations in collaboration with the Child Watch Coordinator to ensure the safety and wellbeing of Mary’s Home Children in our care.
- Manage the transfer of donated cars to program participants and any maintenance assistance provided to participant vehicles.
- Operate and care for Mary’s Home Program vehicles.
- Oversees facilities operations in collaboration with the Property Manager to ensure the safety and maintenance of Mary’s Home.
- Manage the camera system, alarm systems and access control system Collaborates with the Admissions team regarding potential applicants, joining the Peer Interview process as needed, examining application materials, and determining placement of new families.
- Collaborate with the Program Director to research best practices for program development and implement strategic goals, supporting staff in change management.

Learn, understand and implement best practices and trauma-informed care for the mothers and children in residency at Mary’s Home, integrating these practices in programs overseen.
- Uphold all ethical standards within the program through training, documentation, communication and structure, assisting with coaching staff, teachers, volunteers, and key stakeholders in these ethical standards.
- Research, contribute and participate in the strategic planning and development of the program, processes, systems, and training with staff, volunteers, community partners, collaborators, and consultants.
- Meet regularly with the Program Director to review professional development, staff health, program systems, and participant progress and to address any complex issues as needed.
- Foster and participate in healthy, supportive relationships of Mary’s Home staff, volunteers, mothers, donors and service providers within the local community.
- Work with the Program Director and Chief Operating Officer to provide relational assistance, technical support where needed and guidance to the staff in the design and implementation of outcome and impact studies, methods and report
- Attend and participate in Mary’s Home special events and tours, Dream Centers Special Events, and community networking events as the schedule allows.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Attend and participate in program and corporate staff meetings, volunteer training, professional training, events, and other meetings relevant to professional and program development.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required; Masters preferred
- Experience in education, social work, facility management, and leadership preferred.
- Proficient in office management software, learning management software and management reporting tools.
- Certifications / Licensing: Obtain certifications in trauma informed care and other relevant areas
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work hours include 8 am to 5pm weekdays, on-call phone, occasional evenings and weekends
- Travel requirements include ability to travel occasionally
- Work environment is a community setting, standard office and occasional home office

STATUS
Full-time, Salary, 40 hours per week. Salary Range $50k - $60k.
