General Description
The Center Manager role involves leading our locations to excellence, motivating teams, overseeing operations, and ensuring policy compliance. Collaborating with cross-functional groups, contributing to performance evaluations, and maintaining safety protocols are key responsibilities. Strategic thinking and budget management support exceptional client service, community engagement, and overall center success.
Duties and responsibilities
Leadership
- Ensure that therapists are engaged in goal directed activities. Promptly communicate any performance concerns to the clinical team.
- Contribute to behavior therapist performance evaluations by collaborating closely with the clinical team.
- Lead engaging center staff meetings to foster communication and team cohesion.
- Lead weekly Wednesday huddles with BTs, based on executive team guidance.
Scheduling/attendance
- Approve timesheets daily in Paycom and ensure accurate timekeeping.
- Ensure adequate coverage to address cancellations effectively. Collaborate closely with the Operations Coordinator and HR to manage staffing gaps.
- Keep track of attendance issues and collaborate with the Operations Coordinator and the Regional Director to improve attendance.
- Work in conjunction with the Operations Coordinator to ensure appropriate client staffing levels. Minimize cancellations by effective coordination and planning.
- Inspire therapists and staff to work collaboratively towards team goals in a positive work environment, leading by example.
Operations
- Ensure therapists adhere to the center schedule and effectively execute planned activities. Monitor center operations to guarantee smooth functioning and optimal service delivery.
- Ensure that therapists are engaged in goal directed activities. Promptly communicate any performance concerns to the clinical team.
- Contribute to behavior therapist performance evaluations by collaborating closely with the clinical team.
- Oversee day-to-day center operations, stepping in when necessary to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
- Handle supply orders and interact with vendors to ensure smooth operations. Supervise facility maintenance and improvements to uphold a conducive environment.
- Enforce adherence to company policies and convey organizational goals effectively.
- Collaborate with regional and leadership teams to optimize center operations efficiently. Share insights and strategies to enhance overall performance.
- Assist in managing the center's budget, monitoring staffing hours, and ensuring compliance with company guidelines. Make informed decisions to balance financial efficiency and service quality.
- Walk the center floor every hour to check for cleanliness.
- Daily cleaning of bathrooms (including mirror, counters, floors and restocking of necessary supplies).
- Frequent sanitizing of door handles, light switches, clinic & snack tables tops, chairs and toys.
- Delegate cleaning to behavior therapists as appropriate as well as holding accountability for cleanliness throughout the center.
- Call out transition times with reminders of cleaning times throughout the day, per locations DB Day schedule.
- Assist in planning and purchasing light snacks for quarterly all-staff meetings.
- Plan and coordinate special holiday activities and themed Saturday sessions for both clients and team morale.
- Support facility needs, including coordinating groundskeeping and cleaning services, and help maintain the center’s cleanliness and appearance.
- Partner with the Center Director on quarterly Quality Assurance reviews to uphold standards of excellence.
Client Relations
- Provide exceptional client service by promptly addressing concerns and resolving issues within the established policy framework.
- Welcome children and families warmly as they arrive and address their needs through various communication channels.
- Promote the center's unique programs and foster valuable community partnerships. Plan engaging events to enhance the center's visibility and engagement.
- Assist in achieving intake goals by offering tours and supporting potential families. Collaborate with the Intake Coordinator to provide a seamless experience.
Safety
- Conduct regular inspections of the center to identify potential hazards. Recommend corrective actions to maintain a safe environment.
- Report injuries to Dreamer HR, Regional Director, and Clinical Director as required. Guide employees through established safety protocols to ensure their well-being.
- Coordinate and facilitate annual safety drills in collaboration with Dreamer HR. Prepare employees for various emergency scenarios.
Qualifications
- Experience working with early intervention and/or children ages 18 months - 5 years of age.
- High school diploma minimum. Bachelor degree a plus.
- Experience working in an administrative capacity.
- Due to potential conflict(s) of interest, internal candidates interested in applying for the center manager role(s) do not qualify if the position is for their current location.
