Pool Equipment Service Technician

Position Overview

Dream Acres Pool Company is looking for an experienced and dependable Pool Equipment Service Technician to join our team.

This is not a pool cleaning position. This role is focused on diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and replacing swimming pool equipment for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment issues
• Repair and replace pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, automation systems, valves, and other pool equipment
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, and equipment-related problems
• Program and troubleshoot pool automation and control systems
• Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
• Identify problems and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements
• Complete warranty and service calls
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about equipment issues and repairs
• Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous pool equipment/service experience required
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of pool pumps, heaters, filters, automation, salt systems, and plumbing
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience
• Ability to diagnose problems and work independently
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Dependable, organized, and professional with customers
• CPO certification is a plus
• Experience with Pentair equipment is a plus

Schedule

• Monday to Friday (7am-5pm - 40 base pay hours plus 10 overtime pay hours)
• Occasional weekends as needed

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
