Make an Impact: Full-Time Program Director Role at DRCC
DRCC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Program Director to lead residential services in Duluth, MN. In this full-time leadership role, you’ll guide a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), oversee daily operations, and help individuals with disabilities live fulfilling, independent lives.
Scheduled Hours:
- Hours will vary based on the needs of the program.
Compensation:
- Base wage is $23.25 per hour, with differentials of .75 when differentials apply.
- Full-time $100 differential per pay period

As Program Director, you will:
- Lead and support DSPs to deliver high-quality care
- Ensure a safe, welcoming group home environment
- Promote independence and advocacy for residents
- Oversee compliance with licensing and safety regulations
Program Leadership
- Lead the delivery of safe, respectful, and high-quality services across the program.
- Ensure privacy, dignity, and respect for all individuals served
- Develop and update Coordinated Service and Support Plan Addendums
- Implement and monitor behavior management plans as needed
- Maintain compliance with all licensing, health, and safety standards
- Provide direct care (e.g., hygiene, transfers) when staff support is needed
Team Leadership
- Create a collaborative, supportive team culture through strong supervision.
- Recruit, hire, and train DSPs and Assistant Program Directors
- Provide guidance, feedback, and performance coaching
- Support a positive, person-centered workplace culture aligned with DRCC’s mission
Program Budget Management
- Ensure responsible use of resources to support effective operations.
- Collaborate with senior leaders on annual budgets
- Track and manage program expenses
- Monitor individual funding sources and ensure cost compliance
Coordination & Communication
- Build meaningful relationships and ensure smooth service delivery across teams.
- Coordinate care across day programs, transportation, and community services
- Build and maintain relationships with families, case managers, and professionals
- Represent DRCC’s values in all internal and external communication

Qualifications:
Education & Experience (must meet ONE of the following):
- Bachelor's in related field 1 year direct care experience
- Associate's in related field 2 years direct care experience
- Diploma 3 years direct care experience
- OR 50 hours of relevant training and experience
Other Requirements:
- Supervisory experience in human services
- Strong communication and tech skills
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance
- Age 18 and able to pass a background check
