What You'll Do:
As a DSP, your responsibilities include:
- Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the individuals we serve, ensuring respect for their rights and promoting their interests.
- Health and Safety: Protect the health, safety, and well-being of those in your care.
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist with personal care when necessary, including help with mobility, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to implement Coordinated Service and Support Plans and meet the unique needs of individuals.
- Program Support: Perform other functions as necessary to support the program’s goals and daily operations.
A Day in the Life at DRCC:
- Morning Start: Help individuals with their personal care routines and assist them in getting ready for the day.
- Engage in Activities: Encourage participation in hobbies, community outings, and other activities that promote independence.
- Support and Supervision: Provide assistance with personal care, help with household tasks, and ensure safety throughout the day.
- End-of-Day Routines: Help individuals wind down in the evening, assist with bedtime routines.
What We’re Looking For:
- Patient, flexible, and energetic individuals
- Passionate about helping others
- 18 years old, valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
Part-Time Benefits:
- 10-29 hours/week: Paid vacation, sick leave, 401(k) with employer match and profit-sharing
