Job Description:
Seeking a Transformation-Driven Senior Solution Architect to lead complex solution design within the Multifamily Business Unit. This role drives modernization, agile architecture, and enterprise technical direction across high-visibility portfolios. Ideal for someone passionate about technology transformation and enterprise-level architectural leadership.
Our Impact
- Define overall technical vision and solution architectures for key business initiatives.
- Architect high-level solution intent, target state architectures, and roadmaps.
- Define and maintain reference architectures and architecture/design patterns.
- Own solution intent and architecture across information, application, technology, security, and deployment layers.
- Plan and maintain the Architectural Runway for future features & capabilities.
- Identify new technologies, propose alternatives, and enhance performance, CX, and cost efficiency.
- Support pre-deployment, deployment, and post-deployment phases.
- Participate in incident resolution and impact assessment.
- Build reusable reference implementations and maintain design pattern catalogs.
Your Impact
- Collaborate with Business Architects, CPO, PO, Agile Coaches to create solution & technical architectures.
- Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture, Risk, and Security standards.
- Drive product research, vendor evaluations, POCs, and technical RFP discussions.
- Work closely with development leads on design brainstorming & reviews.
- Resolve end-to-end implementation challenges across business requirements, design, code, testing & platform issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred).
- 15 years experience in Solutions Architecture & Business Application Development.
- Strong background in:
- Microservices, Micro-frontends, 12-factor apps
- Cloud-native architectures
- Enterprise-grade distributed systems

- Prior software development background is required.
- 10 years task/technical lead experience.
- Experience leading architects through large organizational transformations.
- 5 years large-scale enterprise transformation experience preferred.
- Mortgage/secondary lending industry experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of modern enterprise platforms (industry-wide) preferred.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 18 years overall IT experience.
- 8 years hands-on Solution Architect experience with strong stakeholder interaction skills.
- 15 years Java development experience (mandatory).
- Strong experience with design patterns and architectural patterns.
- Proven ability to follow business problems end-to-end and deliver architecture aligned with business needs.
- Preferred: AIM experience.
