Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect / Google Cloud Platform Security Engineer to support a large-scale Google Cloud Platform rollout initiative. The ideal candidate will embed security and compliance guardrails into cloud onboarding processes to ensure environments are secure-by-default, audit-ready, and aligned with enterprise governance standards.
The role requires strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Python, Terraform, and cloud security with hands-on experience implementing cloud governance, IAM hardening, encryption standards, logging, monitoring, and compliance controls.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security guardrails for Google Cloud Platform onboarding initiatives
- Translate security and compliance requirements into technical controls and organizational policies
- Define encryption, key management, and secrets management standards
- Establish logging, monitoring, and audit evidence retention requirements
- Implement IAM hardening and security baseline configurations
- Support risk acceptance workflows, exception handling, and remediation tracking
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure secure cloud adoption
- Ensure compliance with enterprise cloud security standards and best practices
- Provide technical guidance on cloud architecture, security, and governance
