What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury & Mortgage Financial Analyst (1192) position at DRB Homes?
Purpose:
The Treasury & Mortgage Financial Analyst will support both DRB’s Corporate Treasury and Mortgage Finance functions through detailed financial analysis across a multitude of areas. This evolving role will be provided a broad exposure to the Company’s overall finance function and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic national homebuilder’s corporate finance team.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Treasury
- Assist Director of Treasury in overall management of Company’s treasury function
- Cash management tasks include:
o Prepare short-term and mid-term cash projections
o Reconcile actual vs. projected cash balances
o Aid with management of wire transfers, including both initiation of payment and verification of payment instructions
- Manage issuance and return of financial/performance bonds and letters of credit
- Support management of Company’s overall capital and loan arrangements
o Contribute to Company’s ongoing capital forecasting process
o Prepare periodic lender documentation, including both borrowing base and covenant compliance reporting
o Manage interest billings from various lenders
- Evaluate cost of capital, including developing projections of future effective interest rate
- Other treasury related Ad Hoc analysis and duties as assigned
Mortgage
- Assist Senior Vice President – Financial Services with all data gathering and analysis associated with the Company’s numerous mortgage solutions
- Support the centralized evaluation of the Company’s numerous interest rate buydowns, forward commitments and other mortgage incentive programs
- Prepare detailed analysis of the mortgage rate pricing options of various mortgage solutions
- Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the Company’s existing mortgage joint ventures
- Other mortgage related Ad Hoc analysis and duties as assigned
Qualifications:Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 1 to 3 years of financial analyst experience, with Homebuilding or Treasury background preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft office products, most notably Excel
- Excellent customer service to internal and external customers; must display a positive attitude
- Accurate and timely completion of work with attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and highly organized
- Attendance and punctuality required
