About The Role

We're looking for a Reliability Engineer to join our team at our Aliceville pellet plant, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for improving the reliability and performance of plant assets, helping us deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.
You'll work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement reliability strategies, and support a culture of continuous improvement across the site.

About The Role

We're looking for a Reliability Engineer to join our team at our Aliceville pellet plant, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for improving the reliability and performance of plant assets, helping us deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.
You'll work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement reliability strategies, and support a culture of continuous improvement across the site.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading reliability improvement initiatives across the plant
- Conducting root cause failure analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Developing and enhancing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Analyzing equipment performance data to identify trends and opportunities
- Supporting outage planning and major maintenance activities
- Working collaboratively with plant teams to improve asset performance and operational efficiency
- Monitoring reliability KPIs and driving continuous improvement projects
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with company standards
You'll be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for reliability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
You'll also have:
- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline
- Experience in reliability, maintenance, or asset management within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of root cause analysis and reliability engineering principles
- Experience using CMMS systems and maintenance performance data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to influence change and drive improvement initiatives
- Experience in pellet manufacturing, biomass, forestry products, pulp and paper, or heavy industry
- Professional certifications such as CMRP or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies including vibration analysis and thermography
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience
