About the Role:
We are recruiting for a Fleet and Packaging Engineer
.
The Mining Solutions Fleet and Packaging Engineer provides engineering leadership on bulk packaging equipment (railcars, ISO, trailers, IBCs) and supply chain/terminal operations. The focus of this role is to drive standardization of best safety, operating, and maintenance practices across the Mining Solutions global supply chain operations. This includes providing regulatory guidance, technical input, and change management processes for fleet equipment & packaging used to transport the product. This position is based at our Memphis, TN location, but remote work may be considered depending on the candidate and circumstance

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the followi
- ng:
Partner with Mining Solutions Logistics and Fleet Procurement to direct all aspects of regional fleet management requiring technical oversight; including, but not limited to, regulatory inspections and design upgra - des.Develop and train terminal operations teams on standardized inspection, filling, and maintenance procedu
- res.Design and install new cyanide handling infrastructure and expansion investments at the regional terminal locations as needed to support the business objecti
- ves.Assist with or lead fleet and terminal related customer complaint and incident investigati
- ons.Implement Mining Solutions packaging projects that improve our ability to deliver a seamless, safe, and cost-effective customer experie
- nce.Serve as conduit between Mining Solutions and fleet equipment & packaging providers to ensure that new equipment meets MS design criteria and business ne
- eds.Provide product technical and regulatory guidance to Logistics team and contractors to ensure preventive and reactive maintenance work meets the business and regulatory requireme
- nts.Develop and manage all test and inspection procedures for fleet equipm
- ent.Manage labeling regulatory compliance for fleet equipment and packag
ing.
To be qualified for this role, you must possess the follo
- wing:
Bachelor of Science in an engineering disci - pline.Minimum 3 years of work experience in an engineering cap
- acity.Demonstrated skills to complete work independently and through infl
- uence.Strong Mechanical aptitude and preventive maintenance backg
- round.Experienced in training o
- thers.Knowledgeable in safe product use, storage, and handling of hazardous mate
- rials.Demonstrated knowledge of computer applica
- tions.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently, including ability to manage numerous follow-up actions and dead
- lines.Ability to interact effectively with Mining Solutions business leadership, customers, engineering firms, contract operations partners, carriers, and dr
