Drama Kids International of Tucson is seeking high-energy, enthusiastic theater instructors to lead our summer drama camps for students ages 4–11. This position is ideal for performers, theatre students, educators, or anyone who loves working with children and wants a fun, creative summer job.
Our teachers inspire young performers through acting, improvisation, storytelling, theatre games, and creative play, while helping students build confidence, communication skills, and teamwork.

Compensation
$550 – $700 per week depending on experience and camp assignment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Independent Contractor
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Duration: 4–7 weeks of full-time summer camp work beginning the first week of June
- Hours: Approximately 35–40 hours per week
- Locations: East Tucson and Rita Ranch areas
What You’ll Do
- Teach engaging theatre lessons using the Drama Kids summer camp curriculum
- Lead acting games, improv activities, and creative storytelling exercises
- Help campers develop confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills
- Direct and prepare students for weekly family presentations every Friday
- Build positive relationships with campers and families
- Participate in instructor training in May
