Senior Analyst

The Drake Star team of experienced professionals and senior advisors across offices in New York, Los Angeles, London, Munich, Paris, San Francisco, Berlin, and Dubai (Partner Office) focuses on mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance services worldwide in Digital Media, Software/SaaS, HR Tech, Digital Services, FinTech, Industrial Tech, Consumer & Retail Tech and Mobility & Sustainability.

We are seeking to hire Investment Banking Analysts and Senior Analysts for our Los Angeles office.

Your key responsibilities

• Assist with the execution of transactions, including M&A and Corporate Finance
• Manage key working streams of transactions in a flawless and efficient manner
• Coordinate project deliverables and due diligence processes
• Develop financial models and valuation analysis
• Draft transaction related documents and marketing presentations
• Assist in business development initiatives
• Actively support and manage periodical sector reports published by Drake Star
• Maintain relationships with other Drake Star Partners' offices to support the origination and execution of cross-border transactions

Requirements

• 2 years of investment banking (M&A, fundraising) related experience that can demonstrate strong execution support capabilities
• Outstanding analytical/problem-solving skills
• Strong project management skills and high level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent command of written and spoken English
• Tech sector experience, including digital media and software sectors will be preferred
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline
• Located within commuting distance to our LA office
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
