We are seeking an Assistant Machine Tool Builder to work at our Warren, Ohio headquarters. The Drake Builder likes to work with his/her hands; has hobbies that involve the use of mechanical skills and is multi-talented. Join our team that produces custom precision grinding machines for an opportunity to learn and progress into the job of Machine Tool Builder.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduate
- Understanding of machine function; machine shop operations; ability to use lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and grinders; and competence in reading blueprints, schematics, and using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Must have the ability to work in close vicinity of high-powered magnets.
- Safety and quality conscious individual.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other Drake employees.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
