Summary
Drake Loeb PLLC is an AV-rated mid-sized law firm in the beautiful lower Hudson Valley. Although our practice is varied and includes areas such as estate planning, real estate, commercial development, and all forms of municipal representation, we are perhaps best known as leaders in defense litigation for major insurance carriers and the transactional representation of businesses from mom-and-pop shops to global entities such as Merlin Entertainments (Legoland) and Mettler-Toledo.

We are currently seeking attorneys with litigation experience to support our clients specifically in the areas of insurance defense and general business/commercial litigation.
The position is primarily onsite in New Windsor with the flexibility of remote work for work/life balance.
The Position
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited Law School
- Licensed to practice law in New York
- Experience level of 3 years in State and Federal Courts within our jurisdiction handling pleading and motion practice, all phases of discovery, and negotiations/settlement; trial experience is not required but preferred
- Superior oral communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Familiarity with and interest in living in the Lower Hudson Valley during employment for business development and networking
- Passion for the practice of law
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, handling matters from pleading stage though to settlement/trial stage
- Work closely and collaborate with other attorneys and Partners on legal matters
- Communicate effectively with Drake Loeb staff and attorneys, clients, litigation vendors, and outside attorneys
