Residential Leasing Assistant
West Madison, WI | Full-Time | Direct Hire
Compensation & Schedule
- $21/hour commission
- Commission earned on:
- New 12-month leases
- Lease renewals
- Sublease transactions
- Commission may be earned independently or split with the Property Manager depending on the transaction
Schedule
- Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Every other Saturday required
- Following Wednesday off when Saturday is worked

What You’ll Do
- Conduct apartment tours for prospective residents
- Guide applicants through the leasing process
- Execute and support new leases, renewals, and sublease transactions
- Process rental applications and maintain leasing documentation
- Maintain online property listings and unit availability
- Coordinate apartment readiness and move-in processes
- Deliver exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
- Support daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Collaborate closely with the Property Manager and leasing team
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong customer service skills
- Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, sales, or administrative experience preferred
- Prior leasing, apartment management, or property management experience is a plus, but not required
- Positive attitude and passion for helping people
