Position Summary:
The Hybrid Technician at Drain Town Rooter is a top-level field professional responsible for diagnosing and selling drain calls. This role is designed for a high performer who can own the entire job lifecycle—from initial customer interaction through installation, close-out, and review requests.

This position requires strong technical ability, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to close $100,000 per month in sold revenue while maintaining a minimum 75% conversion rate.

Core Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation

Diagnose plumbing and drain issues accurately and efficiently in residential and commercial settings

Present multiple options using Drain Town’s approved price book

Clearly explain scope of work, warranties, financing, and timelines

Close work on-site and secure customer authorization and payment

Maintain a minimum 75% opportunity conversion rate

Consistently demonstrate the ability to sell $100,000 in monthly revenue

Operate with integrity—no pressure tactics or misleading recommendations

Request and generate 5-star reviews on completed jobs

Installation & Job Execution

Personally complete sold work when install team is not available to Drain Town quality and safety standards

Perform installations and repairs including, but not limited to:

Tank and tankless water heaters

Water line repairs

Fixture replacements (toilets, faucets, valves)

Cleanouts and minor drain repairs

General Expectations

Communicate clearly with dispatch, install management, and leadership

Follow all Drain Town SOPs, safety protocols, and compliance requirements

Protect company vehicles, tools, inventory, and brand reputation

Performance Expectations & KPIs

Minimum 75% opportunity conversion rate

$100,000 in closed monthly revenue

Average ticket aligned with Drain Town targets

Low callback and warranty rework rate

5-star reviews on 20% of completed jobs

Accurate and timely ServiceTitan documentation

Same-day job completion whenever operationally feasible
