Role Description The Outside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Puyallup, WA. This role is responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts, and promoting Drain-Pro, Inc.’s septic, drain-cleaning, eductor truck, and pipe video inspection services to residential and commercial customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting in-person sales visits, delivering tailored sales presentations, preparing estimates, and following up on leads to close opportunities. The role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with operations teams to ensure accurate service delivery and customer satisfaction. The Outside Sales Representative tracks sales activities, maintains CRM records, and provides feedback on market trends and customer needs to support growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Sales Presentations and New Business Development to effectively identify opportunities and present solutions.
- Candidates should be extremely comfortable "cold calling" and in-person visiting potential customers that may or may not have heard of Drain-Pro Inc before.
- Candidates should possess Relationship Building and Customer Service skills to foster trust and maintain long-term client partnerships.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written abilities, to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess excellent ability to operate Microsoft, and Apple products.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for customer visits and site assessments.
- Prior experience in outside sales, preferably in services, construction, or related industries, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to understand basic technical aspects of septic and drain services; willingness to learn industry-specific knowledge.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple prospects and accounts.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, sales, or marketing is a plus.
