Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled/experience Plumbing Repair and Pipelining Estimator to join our team. This role involves accurately assessing plumbing repair projects and pipelining estimates to ensure profitable and competitive bids. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and construction site experience, with the ability to manage client negotiations effectively. The estimator will play a critical role in project planning, cost control, and contract management, supporting the successful delivery of plumbing solutions across various projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed construction estimates for plumbing repair and pipelining projects using software tools.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine scope of work and required resources.
- Develop accurate cost estimates considering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable pricing and contract terms.
- Manage project budgets through effective cost control strategies while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure estimates align with project timelines and objectives.
- Review contracts and scope of work documents to ensure clarity and completeness before bidding.
- Assist in project management activities including scheduling, progress tracking, and risk mitigation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to plumbing construction.
