Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organized Dispatcher to join our growing team. This role is responsible for coordinating daily operations for plumbing projects, supporting field plumbers, and ensuring smooth communication between the office, job sites, and customers.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple tasks, and able to communicate clearly with both customers and field technicians.
This shift is for Monday to Friday, Open Availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails from customers, contractors, and team members
- Dispatch and coordinate plumbers for jobs
- Communicate schedules, updates, and job details with field technicians
- Prepare and send invoices and assist with billing
- Order materials and supplies for upcoming jobs
- Assist with bidding and preparing estimates for new construction projects
- Maintain job records, schedules, and documentation
- Coordinate with project managers and plumbers to ensure jobs run efficiently
- Provide general administrative support for new construction operations
Qualifications:
- Previous dispatching, construction office, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of construction or plumbing operations is a plus
- Experience with invoicing, billing, and scheduling systems preferred
- Proficiency with email, phone systems, and basic computer programs
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in plumbing or construction dispatching
- Familiarity with estimating or job bidding
- Experience ordering materials and coordinating with purchase agent
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
