The Plumber Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and applicable building codes, and accurately interpreting blueprints and schematics. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe-threading equipment, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Perform construction-related tasks such as carpentry, remodeling, and assembly associated with plumbing installations
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for project completion
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing and basic HVAC systems as required
- Follow all construction site safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client specifications
- Assist in remodeling projects using general maintenance and repair skills when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications (Required)
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, HVAC, or related mechanical trades
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including pipe threading, welding, carpentry, and assembly skills
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and job-site equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Must have own work van capable of transporting tools, equipment, and materials
- Must have own hand tools, plumbing tools, and standard plumbing equipment required to perform all job duties
- Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus but not mandatory
- Physically able to perform heavy lifting and work in confined spaces or at heights
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and familiar with construction site safety standards
