Drain Care Pros LLC is hiring an Excavator Operator for outside water and sewer line repairs. This role requires both safe excavation skills and hands-on pipe repair experience; it is not a general digging-only position.
HIRING LOCATION AND SERVICE AREA - CAMDEN COUNTY / SOUTH JERSEY
Recruiting in Camden County, centered on Haddonfield, Somerdale, Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Stratford, Runnemede, Lindenwold, Blackwood and nearby towns.
Our wider South Jersey service territory also includes neighboring counties and occasional outlying jobs. These are wider service areas, not all Camden County towns. Technicians are assigned a local route or cluster based on service needs and where they are based; they are not expected to cover all South Jersey towns in one day. Calls and digs should be grouped geographically whenever practical. Routine travel to the northern team is not the intent of this opening.

Border-area assignments are coordinated with the office based on the nearest appropriate crew.
Digs are grouped geographically whenever practical, with the office and field manager coordinating access, equipment, markouts and materials before the crew travels.
SCHEDULE AND PAY
Full-time, generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Base day rate: $250-$325, depending on demonstrated excavation and pipe repair skills. Pay is biweekly. Hours are recorded, with applicable overtime paid in addition to the base day rate. Performance reviews occur after 30 and 90 days. This position uses a day-rate structure rather than a per-call productivity bonus.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Safely operate a mini-excavator and assist with hand digging to expose outside water and sewer lines.
Follow utility markouts, safe digging practices, trench protection and site-access requirements; stop and report unsafe conditions.
Locate damaged piping, make authorized water or sewer line repairs and test the completed repair.
Coordinate materials, access and equipment with the office and field manager before starting.
Backfill and restore the work area within the authorized scope after required checks and inspections.
Document depth, pipe size and material, actual repaired section, connections and test results in Dispatch. Provide clear before, during and after photos so claims can be billed accurately.
Maintain equipment, protect customers' property and communicate additional work or approval needs before proceeding.
WHAT WE NEED
Practical mini-excavator operation and outside water/sewer repair experience.

A valid driver's license, dependable attendance and ability to work with the crew.
Clear job documentation and professional customer communication.
