We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Fulfillment Associate to work at our location in Pleasant Grove, Utah. This is a full-time, in-office, non-exempt position entitled to overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor and Standards Act.

Job Description

Fulfillment Associates help pick, pack, and ship orders so customers and partners receive the right items, in good condition, and on time. This role reports to the Shipping & Fulfillment Supervisor and works closely with other warehouse team members. This position involves picking orders using our warehouse software, packing boxes carefully, helping organize work areas, and assisting with special projects such as crowdfunding fulfillment and event preparation. The most qualified candidates for this role have at least 1 to 3 years of fulfillment or warehousing experience, are methodical, and dependable, with a strong sense of personal accountability for accuracy and completeness of work. They demonstrate a proactive mindset, are comfortable performing routine and repetitive tasks without sacrificing quality, and take pride in maintaining organized, orderly workspaces.

Responsibilities

  • Pick orders quickly and accurately using the ShipHero warehouse management system
  • Pack and prepare orders quickly and efficiently using correct boxes, mailers, and packing materials
  • Verify items and quantities before sealing shipments
  • Apply shipping labels and stage packages for carrier pickup
  • Help with kitting and bulk shipping for crowdfunding campaigns
  • Assist with event order preparation and POS inventory packing when needed
  • Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to a supervisor
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized packing area
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and in compliance with all safety guidelines, report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the supervisor
  • Assist with inventory management; Perform cycle counts as needed
  • Replenish stock as needed and consolidate inventory when necessary
  • Follow written instructions and ask questions when clarification is needed
  • All other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Work Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of hands-on warehouse, retail, or stockroom experience
  • Experience with ShipHero is a plus

Availability

  • In office 40 hours per week, everyday Monday–Friday, ideally between the hours of 8am and 4pm. Flexible schedules until 6pm will be considered
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be eligible to legally work in the United States and provide applicable documentation

Technical Skills & Systems Knowledge

  • Familiarity with barcode scanners and applicable software
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management (WMS) and Order Management (OMS) systems
  • Forklift Certification or willingness to certify is a plus
  • Basic general computer skills including familiarity with standard office software (Google Workspace or Microsoft Office), and file organization

Time Management & Organization

  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience following schedules, timelines, and checklists
  • Attention to detail in documentation and process adherence
  • Has project and time management skills with the ability to support multiple priorities and moving parts, while delivering results under tight timelines
  • Self-motivated to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Arrives on time for and works all scheduled shifts, and communicates requested schedule changes well in advance of an expected shift

Communication & Problem-Solving

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams, vendors, and external partners
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Communicates with honesty and kindness and creates the space for others to do the same
  • Willingly receives job performance feedback and makes improvements when requested, and adapts well to changes to their work responsibilities and environment
  • Treats all coworkers with politeness and respect, and adheres to all company policies and procedures including our anti-harassment and non-discrimination policies
  • Completes assigned tasks to the best of their ability, makes timely requests for task clarification, and shows focus and care for the consistency and accuracy of their work
  • Consistently demonstrates professional standards of communication, computer use, trustworthiness, and demeanor

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move merchandise (20–50 lbs) repeatedly
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day
  • Ability to work at a computer or on a tablet several hours a day; i.e. viewing a screen/monitor, a keyboard, and mouse
  • Ability to bend, squat, and reach with normal range of motion
