Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Mental Health Therapist based in Johnson City, TN. The Mental Health Therapist will assess and treat individuals, families, and groups to address mental health and emotional challenges. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, case management, and providing support in overcoming personal and psychological obstacles. The role requires a compassionate, motivated, and skilled professional dedicated to supporting client well-being.
Qualifications
- Experience with Treatment Planning and developing personalized care plans
- Expertise in Social Work and Case Management practices
- Proficiency in addressing Mental Health needs across diverse populations
- Experience in Family Therapy and related therapeutic interventions
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Licensed or license-eligible in Tennessee (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
- Familiarity with local resources and community support systems is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards of practice
