Cleaning Technician - Data Centers in Newark, California

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of facility upkeep, environmental cleanliness standards, and basic mechanical awareness. As a Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine cleaning and maintenance on equipment and building infrastructure. Your commitment to cleanliness, safety, and contamination prevention will contribute directly to the reliability, performance, and longevity of our operations.

32-40 Hours per week

Duties to include:

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Perform routine and detailed cleaning of critical environments, including floors, walls, equipment surfaces, and raised floor areas.
• Ensure dust-free and contamination-controlled conditions in operational zones.
• Use safe cleaning tools and methods to protect building infrastructure.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, PPE, and maintenance materials.
• Document all cleaning activities and report any maintenance or facility concerns.
• Provide support in moving supplies, equipment, or furniture as needed
• Adhere strictly to security access protocols, safety standards, and cleaning procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent - Required
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently - Required
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 45 lbs. for extended periods - Required
• Must be flexible to work either schedule 6AM - 2:30PM or 7AM - 3:30PM or 8AM -4:30:PM (Monday - Friday) - Required
• Experience with custodial, janitorial, or cleanroom environments - Preferred
• Must be willing to submit to BACKGROUND & DRUG SCREENING - Required
• Must have OWN reliable transportation
