Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to legal drinking age laws and responsible serving policies
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly
- Manage time effectively during high-volume shifts to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
- Support event setups such as banquets or catering functions when required
- Uphold food safety standards related to food handling, serving, and alcohol service in both fine dining settings and lively nightclubs
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role within the hospitality industry
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Prior experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet environments is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving policies
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions
- Experience with brewing or beverage crafting is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
