Dradura USA is the leading independent wire article manufacturer for the household appliance industry in the United States. It was founded in 2009 in New Bern, NC as the first independent production site of Dradura Group outside Europe. Our German-based company has been in operations for over 75 years. The focus is on polyamide-coated dishwasher baskets and their attachments.
Summary:
As part of our logistics team, this individual will be responsible for daily production scheduling, optimizing inventory levels, and customer satisfaction. The position will serve as a liaison between customer and our manufacturing team, to ensure that expectations are being met. Working both independently and as a part of a team, the successful candidate will demonstrate a result driven, hands-on attitude along with the ability to think on their feet and work well under pressure.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage complex and escalated customer complaints and service issues.
- Implement strategies to ensure error-free data entry of customers’ orders.
- Analyze and resolve scheduling issues that would cause production delays.
- Assist Supply Chain Manager and Plant Manager with projects by establishing priorities; monitoring progress; and providing solutions.
- Lead initiatives to ensure exceptional customer experience.
- Communicate changes, delays, or requests to customers in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with maintenance the appropriate schedule for down equipment to align with customer demand.
- Organize and implement production work timelines and create production schedules based on customer request, available material, and production resources to ensure customer fulfillment and facility capacity.
- Share in responsibilities of keying orders, print, and distribute production paperwork as required.
- Review and audit work orders to ensure accuracy.
- Other duties and projects assigned to meet business needs.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Complex Problem Solving — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Judgment and Decision Making — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
Qualifications:
- Must have ERP software experience, SAP or similar.
- Must be proficient in Excel.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Just in Time supply chain sequence.
- A minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.
- Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
