DRA Global Limited is an international multi-disciplinary engineering, project delivery and operations management group, predominantly focused on the mining, minerals and metals industry.
The Group has an extensive track record spanning almost four decades across a wide range of commodities. Our teams have deep expertise in the mining, minerals and metals processing industries, as well as related non-process infrastructure such as, water, and energy solutions.
DRA covers all major mining centers with offices across Africa and the Middle East, North and South America, and the Asia-Pacific.
We are seeking a Project Manager for our North Americas Region. We are seeking a Project Controls Manager for our Phoenix office.
This Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the project/study, ensuring that the project is efficiently and effectively managed, resulting in a completed product that is to the satisfaction of the Client.
Main functions include (but not limited to):
- Overall management of the project schedule
- Overall management of the project budget
- Overall management of the project quality and safety standards
- Overall management of the client relationship
Knowledge required:
- Knowledge of project execution, including all elements of project management and how to plan project activities for project phases.
- In-depth knowledge of the Mining and EPCM Industries.
- General appreciation and Knowledge of Industry Safety and Quality procedures.
- Knowledge in engineering design and detailed engineering projects.
Experience required:
- 10 years - Project/Study management in mining and infrastructure industries project development including experience in the management of numerous projects through their complete cycles from initiation to close-out.
- 10 years - Experience within a design and construction company in the Mining and/or EPCM Industries.
- 5 years - General experience and understanding of problem solving, risk assessment, developing advanced level analysis, general understanding of earned value management, trending, claims, forecasting and contractor negotiations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Project Manager Professional Qualification - would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel), with the ability to independently manage email, calendar, virtual meetings, and team collaboration tools.

- While performing duties of this job, you may be required to stand, sit in a stationary position 50% of the time, alternate between sitting and standing, push/pull as necessary, reach overhead or below shoulder level, kneel, squat, or stoop.

- Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment.
