About the Role:
As our Lead Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play a key role in a facility that provides round-the-clock medical care. Unlike a private veterinary clinic, our patients are not clients’ pets — they are rescued animals who rely on us for care, comfort, and love. You’ll work alongside compassionate doctors and caregivers to provide ongoing medical treatment, wellness checks, and emergency support in a stable, mission-driven environment.

Your Daily Impact Will Include:
• Administering medications and IV fluids with precision and care
• Taking X-rays and assisting with radiology procedures
• Performing dental cleanings and assisting in surgeries
• Monitoring animal behavior, vital signs, and post-operative recovery
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
• Restocking and organizing medications and supplies
• Keeping hospital areas clean, safe, and always ready for emergencies

What We’re Looking For:
• Full-time availability, including some weekends and holidays
(Shifts Available: Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM and Night Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM)
• Willingness to work occasional overtime or rotating schedules
• Confidence handling dogs and cats of all sizes
• Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and a calm, steady presence in urgent situations
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their lifelong well-being
• No allergies to animals, cleaning agents, or environmental factors
