Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide general dentistry services, including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe clinical environment
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices
Skills
- Proficient in Dentrix dental software system.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and managing pediatric patients effectively
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and aseptic techniques
- Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other advanced procedures
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and comfort
- Strong understanding of anatomy related to dentistry
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred
