About the Role
Oversee and administer payroll to ensure accuracy and legal compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax laws.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll changes to include W-4, direct deposit, child support, garnishments, levies, salary updates, benefit and 401-k changes, 401-k loans, severance payments, etc.
- Prepare pay batches for pay cycles including deductions, enterprise van pool deductions, lease reimbursements, expat school payments, idea bonus, service awards, other earnings, etc.
- Process final payment to CA employees via ADP Debit Card as required by CA state laws.
- Assign and issue ADP debit cards to employees who do not have direct deposit ability.
- Download payroll reports into payroll folders on the O drive.
- Prepare reporting to third party (401(k) and FSA) and ensure timely funding each pay period.
- Ensure proper payroll tax compliance by outsourced payroll provider.
- Submit CA Wage Date Report Annually as required by CA law.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reporting for JDC to Department of Revenue and Dept of Commerce and audits by SCDOR.
- Generate monthly accrual report for Finance.
- Import travel expenses via Concur into ADP each pay cycle for reimbursement.
- Send G/L and expense reports to Finance each payroll.
- Generate ADP/SAP HR Cockpit Headcount as needed by management and other departments.
- Generate monthly KPI and headcount reports for management.
- Provide payroll data for 401k, workers comp, and KPMG audits annually.
- Coordinate Expatriate compensation with Expat Coordinator.
- Audit ADP/SAP HRIS data monthly.
- EEOC Report Annually.
- Authorization to cut checks and direct funding as necessary for payroll Processing and with proper approvals.
- 401(k) Plan Administrator.
- Supports benefit and leave management.
- Maintains benefit carrier connections between ADP and carriers.
- Coordinates open enrollment and benefits fair annually.
- Administers Daily Pay.
- Cobra Administrator.
- Preparation of annual 5500's for all benefit plans and 401(k), ACA reporting and other annual fees/reporting.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3 to 5 years of General Payroll Processing.
- 1 to 2 years of Payroll Tax.
- Previous ADP experience is a plus.

Pay range and compensation package
$80,000.00 -$86,000.00
