Part-time Pre-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, couples, and families
• Develop and maintain timely clinical documentation
• Participate in supervision and consultation
• Provide ethical, evidence-based treatment
• Maintain professional standards consistent with BBS requirements

Qualifications

Required

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
• Current California BBS registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
• Experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults
• Training in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, ACT, or other empirically supported approaches
• Strong clinical, interpersonal, and documentation skills

Preferred

• Experience working with couples
• EMDR training or interest in trauma-informed treatment
• Motivated, dependable, and eager to continue developing clinical skills
