Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Front Office Manager, where you'll lead the administrative operations of our busy dental practice with enthusiasm. As the face of our practice, you will oversee daily front desk activities, coordinate patient scheduling, manage billing and insurance processes, and supervise administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. Duties
- Oversee all front office functions, including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and patient communication to ensure a seamless experience.
- Manage billing, coding, and insurance claims processing utilizing dental practice management software such as Open Dental or Altapoint. Electronic claims billing with VYNE Dental and Remote Lite.
- Supervise staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of service.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems.
- Monitor clinic financial reporting to optimize revenue flow and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and support dental procedures while managing human resources responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare office administration with strong supervisory skills.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Open Dental or Altapoint; experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of dental terminology is a must, as well as dental records management and HIPAA compliance.
- Demonstrated ability in fiscal management and financial oversight within a dental setting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience supervising teams in a dental clinics; clinical experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, staff, insurance providers, and external partners.
