This is a full-time, on-site role in Boston, MA for a Mental Health Worker. The Mental Health Worker will support older adults by facilitating mental health care plans, providing case management services, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Daily tasks include conducting assessments, offering emotional support, developing care strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services tailored to residents' individual needs. The role may also involve working closely with families and caregivers to provide education and resources on mental health-related issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in building positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
- Background in Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health counseling, with an understanding of geriatric care.
- Experience in case management and developing care plans for individuals with mental health needs.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize problem-solving skills effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Familiarity with the dynamics of aging and mental health challenges faced by older adults is a plus.
