What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optical Lab Technician position at Dr. Schwartz Optometrist and Associates?
Our organization is currently seeking a professional Optical Lab Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the optical lab area. They will be responsible for fabricating lenses for patients, and dispensing new eyeware to patients. Candidates who are good with customer service and troubleshooting will excell in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Cut and edge lenses for patient frames
- Check in and verify glasses from outside labs
- Notifiy patients of the status of their glasses (ready for pickup, delays, etc.)
- Dispense glasses to patients
- Adjsut frames for patients
- Troubleshoot problems for patients
- Work with other staff to create a succssful experience for patients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
