Shipping & Receiving Associate

Dr. Sarah's Essentials is a veterinarian-formulated natural wellness brand based in Arcadia, WI, offering natural care products for families, pets, and livestock. Founded by Dr. Sarah Slaby, DVM, our products are rooted in 20 years of hands-on veterinary experience and a genuine belief in the connection between farm, animal, and family health.

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our small, close-knit team. This role is essential to getting our products safely and accurately into the hands of our customers and keeping our lab organized and running smoothly.

Position Overview

Position Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate

Location: W30881 George Lane, Arcadia, WI 54612 (on-site)

Employment Type: M-F 8:00am Start Time (Part-time, 10-20 hours) with potential to transition to full-time, if interested

Reports To: Office Manager and Office Assistant 

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Receive, inspect, and log incoming inventory and raw materials against purchase orders
• Stock and organize lab shelving, maintaining a clean and orderly storage system
• Print shipping labels and process orders through Shopify and shipping carrier platforms
• Track inventory counts and flag low-stock or discrepancy issues to the team
• Safely lift up to 50lbs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping/receiving area
• Assist with periodic physical inventory counts
• Support occasional special projects, such as catalog mailings or trade show shipments
• Cross Trained as necessary for additional office and production support
• Routine lab and office upkeep and cleaning

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous lab, shipping, or inventory experience preferred, but not required
• Comfortable with basic computer use (order platforms, email, spreadsheets)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage time well in a small-team environment
• Reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of the work area

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout a lab environment with stairs for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a lab setting with seasonal temperature variation
