Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Bilingual ACSW/AMFT for a hybrid role combining clinical therapy, case management, and collaborative care. This position is ideal for an early-career professional looking to gain clinical hours while making a meaningful impact on diverse and underserved populations. In this role, you will provide direct therapeutic services under supervision while helping clients access social support, healthcare, and community resources. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, building essential skills in therapy, advocacy, and case coordination.
Duties
Clinical Work (Under Supervision):
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy in both Spanish and English.
- Conduct mental health assessments and assist in developing treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Use evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care) to support clients with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
- Offer crisis intervention and safety planning for clients in distress.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and agency policies.
Case Management & Collaborative Care:
- Coordinate comprehensive case management services, linking clients to housing, employment, legal aid, and healthcare.
- Work closely with supervisors, primary care providers, psychiatrists, and social service agencies to ensure integrated care.
- Advocate for clients by navigating insurance systems, public benefits, and community resources.
- Conduct outreach and community education to promote available mental health services.
- Support clients in developing life skills, self-sufficiency, and coping strategies to improve overall well-being.
Experience/Skills
- Master’s degree in social work or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active ACSW/AMFT registration in California.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) – Required.
- Experience working with diverse, multicultural, and underserved communities.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, and other therapeutic approaches.
- Strong case management, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across healthcare and social services.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
