Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Acupuncturist role located in Athens, GA, with an option to buy into the practice. The Acupuncturist will provide direct patient care, including conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and administering acupuncture and related modalities. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, educating patients on treatment goals and self-care, and coordinating care with the supervising doctor and other team members. The role involves managing appointment flow, ensuring a clean and safe treatment environment, and supporting the overall efficiency of the clinic. The Acupuncturist will also participate in practice-building activities such as patient retention initiatives and community outreach, with a path toward ownership for interested and qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible Acupuncturist (LAc) in the state of Georgia, with completion of an accredited acupuncture or Oriental medicine program.
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of acupuncture and related therapies (e.g., cupping, moxibustion, herbal support where permitted).
• Ability to maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and practice standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to respectful, inclusive, and patient-centered care.
• Comfort working in a small team setting, with reliability, professionalism, and a collaborative approach to care.
• Interest in practice development, basic business awareness, and willingness to explore ownership or partnership opportunities.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred, along with experience in integrative, naturopathic, or functional medicine settings.
• Ability to stand, move, and perform clinical tasks throughout the day and to maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment space.
