Job Overview
As a Chiropractor, you’ll assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal concerns, helping them manage pain and work toward improved movement and function. You’ll combine careful observation, physical examinations, and evidence-based practice to develop individualized care plans. Your work may support patients in primary care and occupational health settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, physical assessments, and physical examinations; document findings in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
- Apply healthcare diagnosis and musculoskeletal diagnostics, using medical imaging when appropriate to inform care.
- Develop patient treatment plans and care plans that may include chiropractic diversified technique, manual therapy, and trigger point therapy.
- Support acute pain management, pain medicine, and patient rehabilitation while monitoring progress and adjusting treatment.
- Your impact: Clear communication and thoughtful care planning help patients understand their options and take an active role in recovery.
Experience
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, the musculoskeletal system, and medical terminology.
- Experience in patient care, patient observation, client communication, and pain management.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practice and EMR/EHR documentation.
- Experience with chiropractic diversified technique, manual therapy, trigger point therapy, or patient rehabilitation is valuable.
