The Erosion Specialist is crucial for protecting our natural resources and ensuring the stability of project sites. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing advanced erosion prevention and soil stabilization methods across diverse terrains and construction phases. Your expertise will be vital in mitigating environmental impact, ensuring regulatory compliance, and safeguarding project integrity through effective soil conservation strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Design erosion control systems such as silt fencing and riprap.
- Oversee compliance with federal/state erosion guidelines.
- Monitor construction sites for erosion risks.
- Provide ongoing reports and recommendations.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of erosion control or environmental management experience.
- Familiarity with DOT/state environmental standards.
- Certifications (CPESC or equivalent) preferred.
