We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Therapist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing tailored to individual client goals.
- Provide specialized counseling for children, families, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, addiction issues, and geriatrics.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and family counseling to promote communication and healing within support networks.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for efficient record keeping.
- Collect data for clinical research projects and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the organization.
Skills
- Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
- Strong background working with children, adolescents, adults, and elderly populations across various settings including hospitals, community clinics, or home care environments.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards for safeguarding patient information and medical documentation best practices.
- Strong case management skills with the ability to coordinate services across medical providers, social services, educational programs or community resources.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging clients in individual or group counseling sessions while demonstrating empathy and cultural sensitivity.
