What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Assistant - Will Train for This Position position at Dr. Labaza?
Our office is an established Optometry practice looking to train an Optometric Assistant to help our patients in all phases of eye care. This position is for full time, 35 to 39 hours per week. Hours are Monday through Friday. Non-smoking office.
We are very particular about accuracy, and your ability to follow directions. Please read the entire ad.
Individuals who possess good math skills will find the training we provide, easier. Training will also be more comfortable for you if you have had office/reception experience.
The individual we are looking for should have a friendly personality and be able to answer the phone with a smile.
Some of the duties for this position are: teaching new contact lens wearers how to insert and remove their lenses, electronic health records, computers and front desk duties, assisting our patients in selecting their new eyewear, along with other tasks to help our patients.
We will train the right candidate, and you will get paid while learning in the office, but we expect a long term commitment for this position in return.
