What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dental Hygienist position at Dr. Krista Rioch DDS?
Company Overview
We are a small, private, 1 Doctor dental practice dedicated to providing personalized and compassionate care to our patients. Our office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Wednesday and 8:00am to 12:00pm on Thursdays - closed on Fridays. Our office utilizes Open Dental Software and provides a laid back atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will work 1 to 2 days per week and must be able to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing and taking dental xrays
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Follow infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and safety.
- Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations is required.
- Proficiency with dental terminology, medical terminology, and documentation review processes.
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
