Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a California Licensed Psychologist/Psychotherapist located in Pasadena, CA.
At Dr. Kate Truitt & Associates and The Truitt Institute, you’ll join a collaborative, neuroscience-informed clinical environment dedicated to transforming how individuals and communities understand and heal from trauma, stress, and emotional pain. This position offers the opportunity to practice at the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, and integrative mental health care, engaging in deeply meaningful therapeutic work supported by a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, researchers, and educators. Qualifications
• Proven expertise in psychology, counseling, and mental health.
• Experience conducting psychological assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Strong knowledge of clinical ethics and standards of practice in psychology and psychotherapy.
• Active California license as a Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) or Psychotherapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC).
• Preferred experience in trauma and stress-related disorders.
• Training or certification in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, IFS, Brain Spotting, EFT/EFIT, or PACT is highly valued.
