Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage therapies such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal, sports, and occupational health massages tailored to patient needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology and anatomy knowledge
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding their treatment goals and progress, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout sessions
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting patients warmly, and handling patient inquiries with professionalism
- Maintain accurate records of treatments administered and update medical terminology in patient files
- Ensure a clean, organized treatment environment that adheres to safety standards and promotes relaxation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, sports massage, and occupational health techniques
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to assess patient needs effectively
- Excellent patient communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Familiarity with terminology relevant to chiropractic and massage therapy settings
- Current CPR certification and relevant licensing or certification required by local regulations
- Prior experience working in chiropractic clinics is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
