Medical Assistant

As one of the first members of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to help build a new private interventional pain management practice from the ground up. This is a hands-on, flexible role where you will gain experience in front desk operations, medical assisting, and procedure room support while working directly with the physician.

No prior medical assistant experience is required. We are looking for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and excited to grow with our practice. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome and room patients, obtain vital signs, and perform patient intake.
• Document medical history, medications, allergies, and visit information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Prepare examination rooms and assist the physician during patient visits.
• Learn and assist with front desk responsibilities, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and coordinating follow-up care.
• Prepare and assist during ultrasound- and fluoroscopy-guided pain procedures by setting up the procedure room, preparing supplies, positioning patients, and assisting the physician as directed.
• Assist with patient recovery, discharge instructions, and maintaining a safe and comfortable patient environment.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock examination and procedure rooms.
• Help maintain medical supply inventory and ensure the clinic remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Adapt to different responsibilities throughout the day and work collaboratively to support the continued growth of the practice.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, values teamwork, and wants to develop a broad range of clinical and administrative skills in a modern interventional pain management practice.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
